Grassworks is Southern Oregon's premiere bamboo resource. We offer a wealth of resources to help prospective buyers learn about bamboo and view mature specimens of a broad range of southern Oregon-compatible bamboo species on our premises.
Our Gardens are the only resource of their kind or scale in Southern Oregon and the State of Jefferson. Since 1997, we've designed and implemented a rich bamboo-centric demonstration garden that showcases the broad palette of bamboo available to gardeners in our highly specific bio-region, including a number of rare specimens, many found nowhere else in our region.
Visitors to our gardens are inspired by the design possibilities of bamboo. They're also equally excited by the Asian-influenced garden design, sculptures, and architecture, as well as by the wide array of specially-chosen non-bamboo horticultural specimens.
